Our Team

Sergio Spodek holds a degree in architecture from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, where he worked as a designer of private homes and participated in several competitions for multifamily housing and an airport. Mr. Spodek also presented a group project in the Cultural Center of Modern Art in Buenos Aires. He has worked in real estate management since his arrival to NYC in 1988. He is a Licensed Real Estate Broker and was involved in the management of more of one hundred buildings with a total of 3000 units, including apartment buildings, commercial and office buildings. Mr. Spodek was involved in the management of receiverships and worked to sell properties under Bank or third party ownership. In 1996 he founded a construction company, which specialized in gut renovation of apartments in the rental market, having built over seventy-five units; including several apartments and lofts in SoHo and a joint venture development with Tal Epstein (Archimedes Development Group) of a vacant building in the East Village. In February of 2000, Mr. Spodek founded his own real estate company, D.M.B. Properties, Inc. with a portfolio of eleven buildings in Manhattan and a total of 180 units. Since his arrival to NYC Mr. Serrano has been involved in the real estate business; starting with Felgra Corporation, an Argentine consortium involved in the conversion of four residential buildings into co-ops. Mr. Serrano was involved in all aspects of the operation, including sales, processing of mortgages for the buyers and day to day operation of the properties. He served as President of two of the CO-OPs, for a period of six years. In 2001 he moved back to Argentina to pursue other interests. Mr. Serrano came back to NYC in 2004 when he joined D.M.B. Properties Inc as an associate. J.
